What you can (and can't) preview
- Great for: surface finishes, wall colors, flooring, furniture and layout mood, lighting atmosphere, style direction — plus facades and exteriors.
- Not for: structural changes. HomeMaxxing deliberately keeps your geometry intact — that's what makes its renders trustworthy. Moving walls is your architect's job.
The workflow
- Shoot the "before" — each room you plan to change, corner angle, daylight.
- Generate directions and shortlist the ones that survive a second look.
- Pin your materials. Already committed to oak flooring or a specific tile? Pin it so every proposal is built around it.
- Refine the shortlisted direction: adjust warmth, density of objects, plants.
- Share the renders with your partner and contractor. Arguing over a photorealistic image beats arguing over adjectives.
Budget tip: renders are brutal at exposing what actually changes a room. Often it's paint, lighting and one furniture piece — not the €30k full remodel. Preview first, then scope the work.
